Philip Flanagan May 7th - May 20th

In keeping with with its philosophy of showing important artists from outside the Pale, the OSB Gallery in Enniskerry presents a major show by the Northern artist Philip Flanagan on the 14th May (3.00 to 5.00 pm). Philip Flanagan arrives with a substantial Northern reputation but a relatively low profile in the Republic - although many would be familiar with his portrait busts of Seamus Heaney, Charles Haughey, Ian Paisley etc. In recent years Philip has decided to concentrate on painting. His new abstract works are calm and contemplative and imbued with a wonderful sense of the landscape in which he lives - overlooking his beloved Lough Erne.
